Poem: Bubble Gum And Plastic

Bubble gum and plastic,
I’m trying really hard to write this,
For my own sanity,
I need to poor something onto paper,
Swirl colors of words,
And paint you something worth reading.

Sparkling in your eyes,
I’ve been thinking of you all the time,
Rolling back and forth in my mind,
Empty plastic bottle on my bus.

Every time the birds sigh,
I keep dancing through others lives,
Hoping to cross your path,
Dreaded black cat,
Travel underneath your ladder,
Scare away the night.
