Poem: It’s Here

It’s so far gone,
I never thought we’d get here,
But violence isn’t welcome in my life,
You’re not welcome.

I’m willing to hide myself skillfully,
In a twisted forest of blooming poetry,
So you’ll never find what I’ve created,
Protect her from your ability to pollute everything that is pure.

I am braver then before,
Bolder then hot pick peace signs,
I declare this a safe haven.

For the broken hearts,
New souls,
Lost kites,
Stolen philosophies,
Silent skills.

You can’t hurt us here.
